The natural aquarium…

A diverse coral reef and a privileged position in the middle of the bay of Nosy Be in Madagascar give it its nickname «natural aquarium».

The marine reserve of Nosy Tanikely with its abundant corals and an exceptional biodiversity, offers habitats to many underwater species.

The warm tropical waters and the alluvial contribution of the river «Sambirano» result that a large number of species have taken up residence on this small island. Indeed, a varied and spectacular fauna lives all around the island.

Nosy Antanikely means «the island of the small land», we could even speak of islet, it is uninhabited, visitors come on day trips but cannot sleep on the island which also has a landscape interest for those less interested in the seabed. Since 2010, access to the island has been controlled.
