Once upon a time, the story of two travelers, in search of authenticity and exuberant nature, discovered a small island called Nosy Komba, to the northwest of Madagascar.

A little green jewel, a Garden of Eden set on the emerald waters of the Mozambique Channel, without roads, without cars, outside of all frenzy, where life flowed to the rhythm of the tides.

Lodge 

This guest house offers 3 large bungalows of more than 65 m2, with terrace, on an estate of several hectares of lush nature on the edge of a fine sand beach where you will be the only ones to swim.

he bungalows are far from each other giving you the impression of being alone in the world.

You can also enjoy its restaurant with multiple fine sand terraces and its beautiful lounge for tasting cocktails after dark.

On the beach, suspended terraces or deckchairs will welcome you for moments of serenity and contemplation.

A massage parlor nestled in the heart of trees and ylang-ylangs will be at your disposal for moments of relaxation.

In order to preserve the serenity of the place, the clientele is exclusively adults.

• Nosy Iranja: Composed of two islands, Big Iranja & Small Iranja, connected by a stretch of white beach that disappears as the tide rises.
• Trekking to the top of the island of Nosy Komba with its 622m altitude, you will be accompanied by a local guide who will help you discover all the fauna and flora of Nosy Komba.
• Snorkeling in front of Remo e Berenice; this coral bed is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful on the island.

The village in the tropical forest is an illustration of a typical Madagascar’s village, of course more equipped for visitors than the local one. 5 bungalows with a bedroom with a queen size bed with a mosquito net make up the village complex. In the evenings, you can enjoy the sounds of the tropical forest on your terrace. Each bungalow has its own unique story. 2 external bathrooms complete the comfort of visitors.

All 4 Chalets are ocean facing and have spectacular views.

From your terrace you can watch the sunrise and sunset.

Each Chalet has:

• En-suite bathroom with a hot and cold shower
• Twin wash basins and separate toilet.
• In your chalet you will find both showering and swimming towels.
• There is a mosquito net over the entire bed and a ceiling fan.
• Laundry can be charged to your account upon request.

Restaurant

Komba on the Rocks is located on an island with no supermarkets. We make special visits to surrounding islands for produce. Please discuss any special dietary needs with management prior to your arrival.
